Lainie Rowell is an educator, international consultant, podcaster, TEDx speaker, and lead author of Evolving Learner. Her areas of expertise include online/blended learning, designing innovative learning experiences, professional learning, and community building. During her almost 25 years in education, Lainie has taught elementary, secondary, and higher education. She also served in a district-level leadership position supporting 22,000 students and 1,200 teachers at 33 schools. As a consultant, Lainie's client list ranges from Fortune 100 companies like Apple and Google to school districts and independent schools. Lainie is a TEDx Speaker with more than 15 years experience presenting at local, regional, and international conferences. Since 2014, Lainie has been a consultant for Orange County Department of Education's Institute for Leadership Development facilitating professional learning for administrators. He served as the CEO of CUE, expanding the nonprofit’s impact & helping the nonprofit grow fivefold in 12 years, served two terms on the ISTE board, and also directed the California Student Media Festival for a decade. He is Chief Maverick of Maverick Learning and leads strategic learning and development initiatives worldwide at Jamf.
Dr. Emily Froese

Emily started her teaching career in the Rio Grande Valley, before transitioning to North Texas. She has taught everything from Bi-Lingual 2nd Grade to Junior/Senior ELA, and coached kids from Middle school athletics, Varsity Cheerleading, Step team, Destination Imagination and Lego Robotics. Once moving to administration, Emily co-created and served as both an educator and administrator for a secondary virtual school in a mid-sized school district in North Texas. As a lead principal her campus embarked on a mission to become a Challenged Based Learning campus while implementing 1:1 iPad deployment for all 6th, 7th and 8th graders. Emily brings her expertise and experiences to Jamf and leads strategic learning and development initiatives worldwide.
