Steven Angle
Senior Endpoint Engineer, Office of the CIO Customer Solutions @Ohio State University
Steven started his IT career in 2012 as a Desktop Support Technician for the Ohio University Credit Union. He began working at The Ohio State University in 2015 and has served many roles from Help Desk Technician to Endpoint Engineer. Steven is currently serving his role as a Senior Endpoint Engineer for the University. In this role, he is responsible for managing the Jamf instance that supports over 50,000 iOS devices for the Digital Flagship. Steven helped implement the Digital Flagship program starting in 2018 focusing on service design, Infrastructure, content delivery, and endpoint security. Steven has an AAS in Network Systems, a BS in Information Technology, and carries almost a decade’s worth of IT experience to his role and strives to continue to improve and streamline processes every day. His deep appreciation for technology and helping people makes him look forward to new and exciting challenges.
Jessica Phillips
Interim Director of Digital Flagship, Office of Distance Education and eLearning @Ohio State University
Jessica has served in many roles within the field of education and eLearning since 2008, most recently as Interim Director of Digital Flagship in the Office of Distance Education and eLearning at The Ohio State University. In this role she and her team focus on where technology intersects with the student experience, to ensure high-quality, student-centric approaches to technology distribution, coding and app development training, digital skill and creativity training and overall student success. In addition to her full-time role she designs online courses and teaches online undergraduate students at University of Arizona Global Campus and Ohio State. Jessica has a MA in Education with a Curriculum and Instruction specialization, an MA in Psychology with an Educational Leadership specialization, and a B.S. in Early Childhood Education. Overall her public speaking work focuses on leading and managing successful organizational change that is driven by student centric design practices.
